Annual Dinner and Meeting
VSSA will hold its 2009 Annual Meeting on September 26th at the Fredericksburg Rod and Gun Club. The events include an afternoon of shooting and fellowship followed by a barbecue dinner and the meeting of members. Our committee chairmen for junior programs, pistol, high power, and shotgun will staff the various ranges, giving members an opportunity to shoot disciplines with which they may not be familiar. As always, you may bring your own firearms.
There will also be a “Swap Meet” as part of this year’s Annual Meeting. If you have firearms or other shooting gear that you no longer want or need, take this opportunity to share them with your fellow VSSA members and you just might make a sale and put some extra money in your pocket. Or, maybe you will make a trade for something you have been looking for but could not find for the right price.
This year’s dinner speaker will be H.Q. Moody, NRA National Rifle Manager - Smallbore/Air Rifle. If you are interested in starting a smallbore or air rifle program at your club, or are operating a program but want tips to make it more successful, you won’t want to miss this year’s meeting. Mr. Moody will also provide information on the latest news from NRA related to smallbore and air rifle activities.
