Help Spread The Truth
and Promote Activism - Identify "Second Amendment Activist Centers"
If
you have ever attended an NRA-ILA Grassroots Seminar, you know the Grassroots
Division always talks about utilizing the "natural resources" of the
pro-gun community (gun shops, shooting ranges, gun & hunting clubs, and gun
shows) to spread the word about gun-related issues.

In
an effort to formalize this ongoing endeavor, NRA-ILA is seeking your
assistance in identifying Second Amendment Activist Centers to assist in
distributing legislative- and election-related materials to NRA members and gun
owners. Of course, it makes sense to focus on our natural resources, but any
business willing to assist in this critical educational campaign is welcome to
become an

Find suitable venues to serve as a Center and see if they would
be willing to participate. These Centers will provide NRA members and gun
owners with NRA buttons, Fact Sheets on legislation and issues, volunteer
sign-up forms, voter registration materials, and, in election years,
information on grassroots activities and events.

Also, if possible NRA encourages Centers to make a computer
terminal with Internet access available to their patrons so they may access the
NRA-ILA web site and e-mail their lawmakers
utilizing the site’s "Write Your Representatives"
feature.
Specific dates will be determined where
individuals may go to the Centers to pick up their materials for their personal
use and to distribute to others, and NRA-ILA and VSSA will alert its members
and supporters to these dates and venues. Thus, an additional incentive for a

project will pay huge dividends not only for gun owners, but for area retail
businesses as well!
